Nice work there. May I know what is the wood being used and does it add a lot of weight to the rod and ruin its balance?

Hi Alan, the wood is Tulip Rosewood from South America and Wenge from Africa. The wood adds a little weight but it really compliments this particular style of rod. The handle fits the hand perfectly and any slight addition of weight just isn't felt at all. Thanks for your comment.
