I have a friend of mine in Romania.  He builds nice rods.  At this time he uses Matagi components for his latest rod.  I think he is also a good photographer.<br />

Graeme, New Zealand, emailed me new photo set.  He fought and caught a huge fish with his Synit Jigging rods.  Of course the rod uses Matagi components.  If he did not use Matagi components, I am sure he did not catch it.   (Just kidding !)<br />

Here is his comment.<br />
These were landed by our USA Agent off the coast of North Carolina this<br />
month. This 116kg Northern Blue Fin Tuna was the largest to be landed on a<br />
Jigging rod and gear in that country. The smaller weighed 90kg on was landed<br />
on our Venom V350FT jigging rod.<br />
